Massie, Addi, Lylybeth et Joy sont quatre artistes non-binaires à un tournant de leur carrière sur une scène drag en pleine ébullition à Bruxelles.
Alors que cette famille choisie est soudée et solidaire, leur famille de sang a souvent des difficultés à comprendre leur identité et leur métier. Beaucoup de vérités et d’émotions restent sous silence.
Leurs shows, parfois très drôles, parfois très sombres, souvent les deux, s’inspirent directement de leurs combats quotidiens. La scène leur permet d’exprimer leurs identités de genres. C’est aussi leur gagne-pain et le lieu où iels puisent l’énergie pour forcer le passage dans notre société.
Au fil des spectacles de plus en plus notables, se dessine une quête de reconnaissance identitaire et artistique. Ces artistes aspirent à quelque chose d’essentiel : le besoin d’embrasser qui l’on est et surtout d’être accepté·e pour ce que l’on est.

Massie, Addi, Lylybeth en Joy zijn vier non-binaire artiesten op een keerpunt in hun carrière in de ontluikende Brusselse dragscene.
Hoewel deze gekozen familie hecht en ondersteunend is, heeft hun bloedfamilie vaak moeite om hun identiteit en hun beroep te begrijpen. Veel waarheden en emoties blijven onuitgesproken.
Hun shows, soms heel grappig, soms heel duister, vaak allebei, zijn rechtstreeks geïnspireerd op hun dagelijkse worstelingen. Het podium stelt hen in staat om hun genderidentiteit te uiten. Het is ook hun broodwinning en de plek waar ze de energie vandaan halen om zich een weg te banen in onze samenleving.
Naarmate hun optredens steeds opvallender worden, ontstaat er een zoektocht naar identiteit en artistieke erkenning. Deze artiesten streven naar iets essentieels: de behoefte om te omarmen wie ze zijn en vooral geaccepteerd te worden om wie ze zijn.

While this chosen family is close-knit and supportive, their blood family often has trouble understanding their identity and their craft. Many truths and emotions remain unspoken.
Their shows, sometimes very funny, sometimes very dark, often both, are directly inspired by their daily struggles. The stage allows them to express their gender identities. It's also their livelihood and the place where they draw the energy to force their way into our society.
As their performances become increasingly notable, a quest for identity and artistic recognition takes shape. These artists aspire to something essential: the need to embrace who you are and, above all, to be accepted for who you are.
